If you are using the Post Type Archive display results method, you can use the
Template Options
->Enable filtering on Taxonomy Archives?
setting.As long as the taxonomy in question is also in the form (even if hidden from display), and you have also selected the
Detect defaults from current page
->Choose which kinds of pages S&F will try to do this on
->Tag, Category & Taxonomy Archives
the plugin can do what you want.Anonymous(Private) September 30, 2019 at 10:47 am #222304Hi, this worked great but we are having some issue with pagination now where the pagination links are going back to the base URL of the search form instead of staying on the category archive page.
/insights?sf_paged=2
instead of/insights/press-coverage?sf_paged=2
Just FYI – we are using
wp_pagenavi
– Thanks
Anonymous(Private) October 1, 2019 at 5:08 pm #222579Hi there,
Sorry to chime in but I am searching for the same answer. I switched to pagination from infinite scroll for a faster loading site and on my home page when I use the filter all works well until I go to page 2. Urls go from:
from https://slpstream.com/filter/?_sft_category=documentary&_sfm_duration=6+1006
to https://slpstream.com/page/2/I would like page 2 to be https://slpstream.com/filter/page/2/?_sft_category=documentary&_sfm_duration=6+1006
It’s the homepage so the template is index.php
I have “Detect defaults from current page” switched on for all three boxes.
Thanks in advance for any help.
