I uploaded a lot of other tests, thinking that might be the issue, but it still isn’t working in the front-end. The interesting thing is if I try to restrict the taxonomies in the search form — they are all showing up. They just aren’t showing up in the form in the front-end. And when I search for All (leaving the dropdowns alone and clicking the Search button), it returns no results. When it should return all.

    Hi

    Thanks for contacting us.

It probably means that your server environment is preventing the creation of the tables. You must manually add them with a database manager tool, such as phpmyadmin, or ARI Adminer (a plugin for WordPress). Please see this post for more details:

Take care if you have a prefix added to the WordPress tables to edit the SQL command to add the same prefix where necessary.

    Thanks.
That got rid of the error message and the plugin is now working.

However, I am very curious how the cache building system was able to build cache if the tables didn’t exist (I got success messages). And, what is the point of using relevanssi, if it doesn’t use it’s caching tables as well?

I believe relevanssi builds its own index, but where it stores that I do not know.
