Is this field from an ACF Csutom Field? If so, in the field options, does the meta key name start with an underscore _? If so, it should not.

Nope, it’s not an ACF field, it’s a custom field added through theme options. For some reason one of the available options is showing up in the dropdown field of the engine but not the other ones.

I do not want to be intrusive in your conversation but, i figured out some work around for the moment. There seems so be a problem with the cache rebuild in the version 2.3.4. Figured that one out by installing version 2.2.0 where everything works. I do not get any errors either in version 2.3.4 either server timeout or sql problems. There just seems to be a problem getting the meta of newly created posts even though it says rebuild cache for the right amount of posts! That is my only option for the moment since the site the plug-in is on is live and now working great!

The cache system in v2.2.0 is much different from the one in the current version. I will look at what doesn’t work in your new thread.
