1. I have activated Auto Update both the options.
2. I have disabled Ajax. First option.
3. The other two options in the Ajax are ticked by default.
My problem
I want dynamic auto update for filters, but it should not do so for search. Please see the form under CGST/Sections. As soon as I type anything in search box, the search button becomes grey for a while. It seems it starts auto updating. How to stop this??

Ah ok, there is no way to separate the two, it happens on all field interaction, or not..
However, you could try removing the Javascript events on the search field.
Are you comfortable with JS / jQuery? This would be the only approach I could think to remove it.
