Good morning, I inform that I write with google translate in case there is any compression error

    I’m doing the web http://menorcabout.es

On this website I use the filter for “projects” of different categories (accommodation, restaurants, etc.)

Each category has its own custom field filter made by “advanced custom fields Version 4.4.12”

In the filter, I include a “post-goal” with the custom field in its corresponding category and when it shows results it does not work, it shows all the projects although they do not have the custom field indicated in the filter.

An example of this would be the page: http://menorcabout.es/alojamiento/
For example, when I use the “Servicios incluidos” filter and select “Restaurante” the search result shows only 1 of the 2 that have this custom field and also under this result the complete list of the projects of the whole page.

I need help with the Display Results configuration or maybe I’m not setting up the custom fields post-meta.

I request help as soon as possible

    Thanks and best regards

Is it possible to make an entirely new page, empty, with a new url, and view the page in the front end and if it has the edit page option in the admin toolbar at the top?

    Hy
    The new page
    http://menorcabout.es/prueba/
does not give the error of the page “results”

OK, so what happens if you edit the form to use that new URL for results, still in shortcode display results method, and paste the form and results shortcodes to the page?

I have not understood very well

I copied this on the test page
    [searchandfilter id = “14610”]
    [searchandfilter id = “14610” show = “results”]

    And this is the result:
    http://menorcabout.es/prueba/

It still does not filter well, and redirects back to “results”

I edited the form to use that page, now look.

    Great!
    How did you do it?
Right now it does not let me look because you must be connected

As I have to do it in all the categories I will use this reference form

    A question
Can I have the search engine in a widget and after the results are on that page?

As soon as I can, I investigated how you did it!

I closed the form. Look on the second tab, Display Results.

    Perfect
Now, for each category I have to create a page where the results are shown?

    I think so, yes.
