Hello, is there any way to make the search input also search by post-meta??

    Thanks in advance.

Yes. You need to install the free plugin called Relevanssi and in the S&F Pro form Advanced tab enable support for it. In the Relevanssi settings there is a single setting field for custom meta fields, where you need to enter the value all and then build the index.

Hey Trevor, just out of curiosity, where are the Relevanssi settings located? I can’t seem to find it. (no tab for it like normal plugins)

Also, let’s say I wanted to have a search field for FIRST NAMES (a custom-field key) and a search field for LAST NAMES (another custom-field key). Is this possible?

Sorry to hijack this thread…not sure if that’s okay or not. My apologies if not.

    Hi Matt

Have you installed relevanssi? The settings will be in the admin side menu under settings.

And yes to the other question. Use ACF to add fields.

Ok, I found the setings – thanks much!

Also, just to clarify, I still want the results of these searches to appear in the results.php page. Will ACF work well with S&F? I’m not familiar with that plugin.

ACF works very well with our plugin. On the ACF website are a lot of examples on how to output the field values.

I tried installing the relevanssi plugin, but i cant see the option to add the post-meta :(, only post types and taxonomies.

Look for this option: Custom fields to index
