Hi,
I’ve created a search form to search content in a post type archive. The form is working and the results display properly in the archive. However, I only want the search form/options to appear when users are in the post type archive and for it to not appear on other pages on the site.
How would I do this? Right now I’m displaying the search form by adding it to the side menu as a widget.
Thanks,

You would need to use a plugin like this one:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/
It adds a logic box on the widget box where you can set rules as to which pages the widget should show. There are other plugins that do much the same, so this isn’t the only one.
I see you also posted on a thread that was pretty much private replies only. I removed that posts, and also the duplicate of this one that you posted in the other forum. If the subject of this post wasn’t all you needed to ask, can you reply with a follow on question here?
