Hello,
I’d like to start by saying thank you for building this brilliant plugin. I’ve been scouring the web for quite some time looking for a way to search, filter and sort my custom posts using Visual Composer grids, and I’m ecstatic to have discovered your plugin. It works perfectly and is exactly what I need.
There is one item I’m wondering if you could help me with. Do you know if it’s possible to implement a view switcher that would allow users to switch between viewing results in 2 different VC post grids layouts? I’ve tried using VC’s ‘pageable container’ and ‘tabs’ but unfortunately the content within the secondary pages/tabs to not load when clicked. Do you have any ideas of how to achieve this feature?
Thanks,

Yes, I found this extension in another support ticket and it works very well.
I’d like to know if it’s possible to add a ‘switch'(2 view option buttons) to allow users the ability to choose between a grid view output and a list view output output.
Trevor(Private) March 1, 2017 at 5:06 pm #93803I can visualise what you want. You would have to have two grids on the page, one set as a grid and the other as a single column. Did you try doing that? I mean having two visible VC columns with both types of grid, based on the same search form. Worry about the switching later. Can both grids use the same form?
Anonymous(Private) March 1, 2017 at 5:20 pm #93807I have tried this and it almost works. A single form can generate 2 results in 2 in 2 columns (grid and list) on initial page load, but as soon as a search or filter are applied, only the first result (grid) will appear and the second (list) does not.

Ross Moderator(Private) March 6, 2017 at 3:08 pm #94927Hi there
Its not yet a feature in the plugin, but we’re going to support this in v3 (something which I’m developing at the moment).
Release is probably a few months away with beta being sometime before that.
Let me know if you want to test the beta and I can put you on the list.
Best
