Tagged: custom date field, date filter, date tags, filtering by date
Hi Ross,
Sorry for being a bother. The client wants to have the movies filtered by date, but doesn’t want a “date range”. He wants to be able to select a dropdown with options:
June 2015
July 2015
August 2015
September 2015
Etc,
And choosing an option shows him custom post types “movies” with custom field date value “new movie release date” that falls within that month/date selection. Any idea how this is possible?
This was already an option on his previous website design (new thread to follow with that info), but I can’t figure out how to implement this with your plugin. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Ronel
Unfortunately the only option for now is the date picker.
You could achieve something similar with creating custom fields / taxonomies for years and months, and then you could display them as dropdowns in the front end.
Thanks
