    I have a search form I’m using in a post type archive. I can’t get the default order to work. The only search field I have is a sort by field and it works great for an ACF field that is used for price. However, the default sort order option will not work for the same field.

    I would some more information. Are you sorting in the field options, or do you mean sorting the results (as set in the Posts tab)?
