    Hi,

    We are trying to have an option selected by default in dropdown for search and filter pro.Can you help me with the right option.

    This is not directly/easily possible within the plugin at this time. You could use some javascript on page load (and also on ajax refresh) to check the field in question to see IF it has a value and set one if it does not. However, that would require you to think carefully about the rules and hire a coder to do this.
