How do I add “All” at the top of the Taxonomy option of a Multi-Select?

I want the user to be able to remove selections if required.

It does not seem possible at this time.

I’ve raised it as a feature request. Thanks.

If you had “all” at the top of a multiselect, then what happens when someone selects “all” and one of the other options (its multiple choice after all)?

This is the reason most multiselects generally don’t have this option.

Perhaps a different thought process is required – what are you trying to achieve, that a user can clear the multiselect? In this case perhaps its better to have a way to clear all selections for a field (such as an X next to each field?
