I’m sure this must already be posted here, but having trouble finding a useful answer.

I’m using the shortcode method to display results

I want to customize the look of the results – currently it has the post title on top, then the post excerpt underneath that and the featured image below that.

I would like to make the featured image display to the left of the text and constrain it’s size

    Any suggestions?

Does your theme have a page that displays like this, that you could copy the HTML and classes from and edit the results.php file, as per this documentation:

    https://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/search-results/using-a-shortcode/#Customising_the_Results

It might be that I would have a better solution if you could let me know what theme you are using, and if you have a link to a page with the desired layout on (not the current search page that you are making)?

    Hi again,

Thanks that was useful. However I’m still not quite there.

    I’m using the DIVI theme.

I managed to get the layout roughly right, however I’m just not sure how to apply styling like padding, text alignment and maximum image sizes.

Here’s the results page as it stands:

That’s awesome. Everything is so much easier now!!!
