Customized Results via Shortcode – results.php – not working

I’m trying to recreate a grid type archive page for my search & filter results similar to this page (https://miamicirclemarble.com/browse-inventory/). I followed the instructions here (https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/search-results/using-a-shortcode/) to start the process of building this page. But my results are not updating. I deleted the excerpt, date, and category, and moved the featured image above the title. But no changes can be seen on my results page. I put the customized results.php file in this folder- wp-content / themes / headwaychild / search-filter / results.php. What am I doing wrong?

The search page you gave me is http but the results page is https? I then used the https page, chose Onyx, and the results update. I make another choice, again the page updates? I do not see the described issue.

Yes the filters are functioning properly. But the displayed results are what I’m having trouble with. I updated the results.php template and put it into wp-content / themes / headwaychild / search-filter / results.php. In this template I switched things around. I would like the featured image to display first, then remove the excerpt and categories and date. But my results still shows it the same way as before.

Thank you! Editing that file there instead is working so I should be able to figure it out from here. I had been trying to follow these instructions (https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/search-results/using-a-shortcode/).

I think you correctly followed those instructions, but may you were using ftp to edit the file, because when I do that it keeps the new version on my computer and I have to upload it after I am done. Anyway, it seems sorted so I will mark this thread as resolved for now.
