Customize search filter options and layout

Hello There,

We are looking for functionality that shows articles based filters and also by alphabetical order (https://prnt.sc/xgqdwa). These are initial options on the first launch of the page and then if someone clicks on the icon (https://prnt.sc/xgqf0o), then it shows filter options form.

Also, is there any customization that this plugin provides to create a layout something like this? – https://prnt.sc/xgqhiv

Let us know if you have any ideas/solutions to achieve this.

I don’t really have any ideas. I suspect it would take custom CSS and JavaScript to achieve what you ask for in the form, and some form of customized PHP layout template for the results. You would almost certainly need a field with the commencing letter of the post title in order to be able to group them.

The JavaScript for the form would likely have to add in some HTML, but be very careful, as it is possible to break the form functionality doing this.

This is a project for which you would need to hire a skilled third party coder. It is not something we could help you with, and it would be well outside the scope of our support.
