You want to style the form itself?

Are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look?

Can you show me one or more annotated screenshot(s) of the design change(s) you want? If you can do that, you would need to upload the screenshot image(s) to a file sharing site (like the WordPress Cloudup site) and share the link with me?

Yes the form …. Here are two screen grabs…

1st is how it looks currently : https://www.dropbox.com/s/8gzxw10i5i6ydwl/Screenshot%202020-09-11%20at%2018.51.07.png?dl=0

2nd is more how I would like it to look : https://www.dropbox.com/s/5xh7x1ocb8ngwag/Screenshot%202020-09-11%20at%2018.51.28.png?dl=0

Its possible tat al of this is doable with CSS, but am interested to know if the html can be edited too

    Thanks

The HTML is generated inside core files and should not be edited. The plugin requires a fixed HTML structure to work, and editing this can cause it to fail.

It should be possible to add the line and colors, but the search icon (as a clickable trigger) cannot be added inside the search box (I have tried before to do that).

I did ask before, but are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look?
