    I am trying to create the custom taxonomy for the searches, we are using Search & Filter Pro to display scholarships from local organizations that are available to students, but I’m really struggling with finding the proper plugin to create these custom taxonomies. Do you have any recommendations?

    I would use Custom Post Type UI free version.

    Taxonomies is the second option (post is the first). Make sure you change the Hierarchical setting from False to True.
