custom taxonomies not included in search

hello..

i’m having an issue with the search function including my custom taxonomies.

for example, on my site it works fine when i select the “green” option from the custom taxonomy dropdown titled “color”, all of the posts with that custom taxonomy “green” appear under this url structure:

http://sitename.com/?_sft_colors=green

howwwwwwever, when i search “green” (vs. selecting it from the search form ui “taxonomy” field) it returns this url with no search results:

http://sitename.com/?s=green

so my question is, how do i get the search field to search all custom taxonomies? (i’ve included all of the items in the “tags, categories & taxonomies” section in “settings and defaults” and that didn’t help either)

Hi there

This is not possible yet directly with this plugin, however I did integrate Relevanssi which will add this functionality for you.

Some users’ have reported a bug with Relevanssi which is fixed in the next version of S&F.

You can enable Relevanssi under the “advanced” tab once its installed.
