    Ugh… hit enter accidentally sorry.

Having a little trouble with a custom query seemingly working on my local, but not on a live environment.

On my local, the same code (and plugin settings) result in me being able to filter the results, but any posts with a start_date older than today don’t show… i.e. they’ve happened.

On live however, ‘past’ events are also shown in the query.

Any ideas as to why this might be the case?

Two possibilities come to mind. Either:

    1. The migration process corrupted the search form somehow (it can happen), so try manually making a new form and test that.

    2. The live hosting environment is different. Who is the Hosting company? I have seen this happen if the host is WP Engine (who are an excellent hosting company, in fact I think we use them). If you are hosting with WP Engine, then I need to know more, but the issue in any event might be that the query sent to the database is being truncated (which I know how to fix in the case of WP Engine).

    Thanks for helping out Trevor.

I tried creating a new form yesterday just to test this prior to reporting (was hoping it was something easy like that!), but it was still ignoring the query regardless of any settings.

The hosting company is http://cloudways.com/, which is a similar service to wp-engine.

Would the full status report of the plugin on live help?

Just echoed this on to the page, (on my local too), and they match so not sure that’s it.

Further down the page it lists past events by date correctly, so the issue seems related to the upcoming events query at the top
