    I have a thought. Have you previously used this meta key name with standard WordPress Custom Fields or Formidable Forms? I suspect a conflict with a previously used name slug.

    Hmm some of the posts are being generated by Formidable Forms, yes.

    I just added a field called ‘completely_random_field_hello_123’ and added a value in the post and that seemed to work. I will look into this properly tonight to confirm.

    So will I need to change all the field names? It still needs to work with Formidable generating the post and fields…?

    I am unsure whether just changing them will work, you may have to make entirely new fields. I am unsure. It should then work if you set formidable up to save into these new fields.

    mmm. Did you try making the CPTs using a plugin like CPT UI instead of hand making them?
