Custom Categories Unselectable & ACF fields

Hi,

I have a couple of issues which I would like assitance with.

A) I purchased your plugin which works great however I have a strange issue. I created a search form with a search field and 2 dropdows which pull 2 custom taxonomies located in the homepage. After a search has been made in the search results page the dropdowns for the custom taxonomies cannot be selected. I can see the taxonomies in the dropdowns but they are unclickable. I also noticed that near each taxonomy the number of posts associated with shows “0” ie: Category A (0). Note that the search.php which shows the results has also the same form.

Please also note that this works fine before a search is made. I also created another search form in a separate page with fetches normal categories and that works fine even after search so the issue must be with the taxonomies.

B) How can I make the search field pickup the advanced custom fields info. I do not want a dropdown as i saw you have a feature in the plugin but the search input to able to search via these fields.

I am quite technical so fire away and code I can modify.

Hey Jason apologies for the delay extremely busy and I’m away tomorrow.

I’m going to be dedicating my weekend to getting back on top of all things S&F related so hopefully you can sit tight until I get a chance to look properly then?

In the meantime, would you be able to provide me with your login details & url? So when I am ready to look and dive straight in and start testing the problem?

HEy Jason

Is your search form inside your results selector? Also try disabling the beta feature “auto count” as this can sometimes cause issues with reloading.
