Tagged: Buttons, css, css examples, search form
Hello,
I just bought this plugin, which basically does exactly what I want (the only major thing missing is maps and geolocation), but I am having serious trouble with being able to style the search form.
Have anyone manage to make the form elements look more like buttons?
What I am trying to achieve is to make a dropdown like this one:
look like this:
.
Is it at all possible?
If yes, does anyone have an example on how to do this?
I tried to search the forum (Note to developer: You should enable the option to only search (and show) thread-headings, this is a difficult forum to search in.), but didn’t find anything that made me any wiser.
Thank you for any response.
Maps can be done if you use the Pro version of WP Google Maps, where the mashup feature can be used (search this forum for mashup
). Geolocation searches cannot yet be done, but it is a feature we wish to add, so it is on our ‘to do’ list.
As for custom styling, it is possible that someone has already done what you want, but I do not recall seeing it.
If you use Chrome, add the SnappySnippet inspector addon, then use it to inspect and make the CSS for what you have now and what you want from a sample page that has the design you need, and then compare and use those code snippets to make your own custom CSS.
