So far this is a really nice plugin. I have the Pro developer license. However I am trying to implement a more faceted type of filter but it does not seem possible.

I have a post type with 2 different taxonomies. In the search form I have two taxonomy fields, one for each taxonomy. When I select one item from one taxonomy, I am expecting the other field will adjust to only show taxonomy terms that have available results.

So as an example a games filter with 2 taxonomies, genre and console

When I select a genre, the console taxonomy should update to only show available consoles based on the genre I selected. However it doesn’t do that it always shows all consoles.

    Any way around this?

No way around it but I’ve pretty much finished implementing this for S&F 2.0 😉

Can send you a version to beta test in next couple of days?

    Thanks

Ok thats sounds great. Good to head you are working on this. Its pretty mandatory for me. Also have you thought about getting ACF relationship fields working as well? Currently I don’t believe its possible for them to work as filter. I have tried it a few times and can’t seem to get results.

    Hi Stuart

I haven’t really tested relationship fields in ACF – its something thats come up a couple of times so something I’m definitely keen on checking out, but at the moment all focus is on this 2.0 release – hard to get my head out of that – so much new functionality I’m working atm!

    Thanks
