    Hi,

    I have a sales page here: https://dev.rockymountainwinespiritsbeer.com/shop/sale/

    I’d like to be able to filter between wine, beer and spirits. How would I go about doing that? I’m currently using the elementor “products” widget and have the query set to “sale” but in order for the filtering to work I need to set the query to Search and filter so I’m hoping there is just some kind of setting I need to use in my search and filter “sale” query??

    Ideally then, you need two custom taxonomies:

    Beverage Type, with these terms in it:

    Beer
    Cider
    Cooler
    Spirit
    Wine

    And a Beverage Sub Type that has the other terms in it.

    Hi Trevor,

    Thanks for responding. I’m not quite following. I’m already filtering via categories of Beer, Cider, Coolers, etc. Are you suggesting I need to add a subtype of “sale”? I was hoping this could be automated somehow. The “sale price” is currently automatically being updated from our inventory management system (lightspeed) so I was hoping to not have to go into wordpress and then re-tag all of the sale items. Does the search and filter plugin have no native way to recognize items on sale?
