Hello,
Could multiple values separated by a separator in an ACF field be splitted in individual values that could be searchable for a given criterion ?
I don’t know whether I am clear and legible here, so I will provide you with an example of what I’d like to achieve.
Example :
I have an ACF metadata field named “Issues” in which values could be multiple and separated by a semi-colon, e.g. “Aging ; Environment ; Immigration”, what I would like to do is being able to search those values individually by making use of a multiselect combobox.
If another article has for this ACF metadata field “Issues” this value : “Aging ; Education”, then the results of a search made on Issues with the single value “Education” should return the latter but a search made on Issues with the values : “Aging” and “Education” should return both articles.I didn’t find a way to achieve this up to now and I truly don’t know whether this behaviour has been implemented by S&F.
Thank you for you answers.
Best regards,

The importing of external data into an ACF custom field that has multi value settings is not something we would cover with the scope of our support.
Importing as semi-colon separated values will not work. Assuming that you are using an ACF filed that accepts multiple values, your import script would need to convert your data to an array that meets the ACF standard.
For example, with WP ALL Import, I think you would need their ACF import addon.
