Content Blocks not searched

Hi. I’m using the plugin “Reusable Content & Text Blocks by Loomisoft” and search and filter. The problem is that my search result isn’t including pages/posts that uses content blocks. I have Content Blocks checked in my search settings, is there anything else I’m missing? To clarify; I want it to search for words within content blocks, not the block itself.

I can search for the shortcode itself but that’s pretty useless. Not sure if this is a problem with the search and filter plugin, the theme I’m using (flow by themify) or the content blocks plugin…

When you are making/editing a post, you are putting these blocks inside the main content, or into custom fields, sidebar widgets, etc?

We may need to share screens (using Skype) so you can show me, so that I understand what you are doing.

Those screenshots helped a bit. The Search Box you are using simply hands off that search for WordPress to do. So, try this. Disable S&F, and simply add /?s=reusuable to the site url and see what you get?

OK. Install the free Relevanssi plugin and enable the setting in it:

Expand shortcodes in post content

Then build the index, making sure the post type you want to search is also enabled.

If that works, activate S&F and edit the form, go to the advanced settings tab and enable Relevanssi support.
