It is not one that we have tested. However, I can see that the plugin uses Masonry to arrange the posts, and experience tells me that an Ajax refresh of results would also require some custom javascript to re-trigger the Masonry code/effect.
Out of the box, it will be difficult to get the two working together, but it could almost certainly be made to work. You would most likely require assistance (beyond our normal technical support) to get it working.
As it is free, why not use the Post Grid plugin, as documented here:

That would depend what functionality you want, and what options you set in the plugin.
Ajax allows the results to refresh without the page reloading.
Masonry re-arranges the content to give the appearance of columns where vertical gaps between posts is removed.
