Hello. I am using comboboxes for my project, and they work great. The only exception is on phones, where the OS takes over the styling and behavior (it defaults to the ugly rotating words on iOS, and the “All <Taxonomy>” text and parent-child list styling is lost). I would prefer to keep my custom styles on the phone. Is there any way to deactivate or change the mobile styles? It only happens on phones, not tablets.
Thanks for input, and for the awesome plugin!
Ross Moderator(Private) January 15, 2015 at 3:56 pm #10315Hi Celeste
Unfortunately this is not possible atm – this is because I use a jQuery script called Chosen to power the comboboxes (http://harvesthq.github.io/chosen/) and they have made the “decision” that native UI elements on small devices are better usability than their comboboxes..
Last time I checked there was no way to force this on mobile devices but if you find anything I’d be willing to integrate it as an option in this plugin.
Thanks
