Before purchasing the pro version I used the free plugin which was able to generate URLs like yourdomain.com/category/uncategorized/
but now the URLs don’t look good at all
yourdomain.com/?sfid=123&_sft_category=uncategorized
How can I get the clean URLs back?
IF you are searching a SINGLE Post Type (or, in the case of WooCommerce, you can have both Products and Variations selected), you could use the Post Type Archives display results method instead of ‘As an Archive’.
It would then be filtering on that Post Type’s archive page, or its taxonomy pages. There are also three other provisos to make this work as you wish:
#1 That the taxonomy in question is a field within the form (you can hide it using custom CSS if you wish, so the user cannot see or use it).
#2 The Auto Detect for Taxonomies is active (selected) on the General Settings tab.
#3 That you switch ON the enable filtering in the taxonomy archives setting in the display Results settings tab.
Any other filter values have to be set as queries in the URL. If you do not sue this method, than ‘pretty permalinks’ cannot be used in the current version of our plugin. V3 will allow greater options to do as you wish.
