    OK. I can see that the title is inside the search-results-items Ajax container, so for some reason the code that fetches the title is not finding the title when Ajax runs. I notice that the page it works on is a category page, and when the search triggers it goes to a search page instead.

    That makes me think that this needs to be a ‘Post Type Archive’ search. You would also need to set autodetect category/taxonomy:

    I set “Display results method” to “Post Type Archive” and then I changed the ajax container from “.search-results-items” to “.search-results-container” (a few levels higher). So now the search results number is included in the ajax container.

    This seems to fixed both issues and didn’t cause any new issues. Thanks!
