    Hello,

It seems that updating to version 2.1.2 breaks something:

Filtering on categories has stopped working. I’m running an older version on another testing environment, filtering works perfectly there.

Is this a problem you’ve heard before? I hope you can help me!

What version were you on before?

I did install the latest version late last week, because there was a third party hook/filter that I needed. So I guess I was running 2.1.1 when everything was still working.

Is it possible for you to make screenshots of any tabs in the search form setup that you have made settings in (some tabs you may have made no changes from the default, these I do not need to see)? I need at least the General and Display results tabs.

    What theme are you using?

Have you made any additions to your theme files and/or the functions.php file in relation to the plugin?

    I’ve added the screenshots below:

    null

    I’ve made a custom theme.

There are no effective changes in the theme for the plugin at the moment.

I’ve put the images in Google Drive. If you open the images, you can request access.

I’ve placed the images on a server, so they are directly accessible:

Under normal circumstances you should not need Force is_search to always be true on, unless you have a reason?

From that third image I also see that relevanssi is being used? The Relevanssi plugin IS currently activated?

No special reason to use ‘is_search’. So I’ve disabled it. No result there.

I’m using Relevanssi to make custom taxonomies searchable. So that is currently activated, yes. Could that be the problem?

It might be. Worth disabling that and see if the control works as expected, if it does, then we can work on getting the relevanssi part to work.
