Hi Support,
I am outputting a category filter which also has sub categories that are output too, I am currently outputting them as checkboxes, now I want the parent categories to act as like a menu system, so the check box works as it should to filter the content but the label when clicked on should reveal the sub categories. Is this possible using Search and Filter PRO, and if so could you point me in the right direction in order to start looking at a solution.
Thank you
Scott
The Gate EdinburghTrevor(Private) October 21, 2019 at 11:16 am #224215This is not possible from within the options available in Search and Filter, sorry. It is under development/consideration for V3 (I am sorry, but I do not have an ETA for that yet). I am aware that some users may have developed a JavaScript solution to this problem, but I have no snippets to offer you.

Thanks for the info look forward to seeing version 3,Is it possible to have separate forms for each of my categories then and have them all output to the same results page, that way I could add a div around my parent and child categories and target that.
Thanks

In that case is it possible to add a specific ID or class to the category filter, I have output 3 category filters in the same form removing the parent and child categories from each of them that I don’t want, therefore creating the 3 separate category filters, I figured targeting it with JQ but wondered if there was a way within the plugin of adding a unique ID, class or wrapping div around the form elements.
Thanks
