    Afternoon,

    I am looking to filter custom post types by using categories. I have created posts in each custom post type and given them categories. I have created a search filter for each post type which only inlcludes those posts and has a multi select box showing the available categories. My issue is on some of the custom post types there are no options in the select box eventhough I have applied categories to posts of that custom type.

    On a side note I want to hide categories in the select box which have not been assaigned to a post. However I am getting lots of random results. When I select the option to hide empty items.

    It’s the The How To Video form, as you can see there are posts in this custom post type but they don’t appear in the search results when searching in this post type.
