    I’ve tried for a long time but I can’t get my pagination to work. I tried native WordPress pagination and am currently trying with WPpageNavi. My pagination tag is placed inside the AJAX container and the pagination selector is set to “.wp-pagenavi a”. Any suggestions?

    I tried setting it to .search-results-items but that didn’t work.

    As I asked before, with the Custom method, which you are using right no, you need to take extra steps to link the form to the results (template). I need to know or see how you connected the form to your template, as you are using the Custom display method.
