Hi,
So i’ve made a category (beaches) in my blog categories. I’m making one blog post per beach (I was looking into taxonomy but that looks semi-complicated, so I figured I’d better get this working first). So; i’m trying to filter beaches.
I’m looking for something quite similar to the “movie filter demo” on this page.
So, I’ve made a search form. And some beach pages, added the search shortcode to one page, and the search_results shortcode to another. If I search for words, it kinda works but it loads another page (might as well use the default search bar for that). If I select a tag, it loads ALL beaches even though that tag is only assigned to one.
So basically it’s doing pretty much nothing at the moment..
I’d like for it to:
– Filter search on top of the search results, and also in a widget later
– Show all results on the search form page, rather than it loading another page
– Load through AJAXCan anyone point me in the right direction? As for the documentation and demos, it would REALLY help (me) if there were more back-end tutorials/demos about setting up taxonomies or pages rather than just the filter search itself. If anyone has a admin demo to a working page I might figure it out myself.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

I’m going to jump on this ticket today/tomorrow.
Thanks

Currently a bit busy, but i think I fixed it a couple of days ago.
Main problem was that my category page /beaches/ had the same slug as one of my single pages. I think this caused some buggy behaviour, but didnt give any clear error.
Consider it fixed for now, thanks for your time 🙂
