    Search & Filter Pro will follow the translations that WPML makes if you follow our guide:

    https://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/3rd-party/wpml/

    So, for example, the French translation form will only find posts that WPML has as French. There is nothing to set in the form as a filter, as it does it this automatically.

    That would work then? I don’t understand why it doesn’t work with my install.

    It should do. The search form should find only posts with that translation. There is no need to add a Post Meta condition to do this.
