    Hi,
    I have already tried the few different faqs tutorial but I cannot get S&F to search and filter. I am using WPML and many different ACF / metatags. You can check the page here :

    Hope you can help,
    Thanks

    You seem to have used a Shortcode Display Results method, but have you entered the full url for the results page?

    Hi,
    No I didn’t, but I think it is probably not the best solution for a sidebar search right?

    I might be misunderstanding you. I see the search form in the left sidebar, but where do you want the results to appear? On the same page (where on the page?), or a different page (which page?).

    Sorry 🙂 Well, the search has to go on the sidebar. But the search results should appear on the main content area of the page, where the article currently is.

    OK

    So, the problem I see is that you are using the Shortcode Display Results Method, and this requires a fixed results page and for the Results URL to be completed. But, you want the form on many pages, yes?

    You are using Enfold theme, yes? And you have made your own child theme?

    There may be a way to do this, as our developer is exploring the Enfold theme right now for another user, I think in this thread:

    OK. Testing done. Do you know which of the Enfold template files (or your child theme versions) are used on this (and other) pages? It seems As an Archive is the best Display Results method to use, with a small piece of code added to the template file to filter the loop.

    If you use different template files for different pages, you would need one S&F Pro form per template file.

    You then need to extend the arguments passed to the query like so:

    $args['search_filter_id'] = 123;
