I’m having this problem which is mentioned somewhere else in support. But being I’m a little incapable, I couldn’t see any way to comment on that topic.

Fatal Error: Cannot redeclare recurse() = plugins/search-filter-pro/search-filter-pro.php on line 54

Is there any resolution to this?

    Hi Rollin

I need a bit more information. Where do you see this error (e.g. Front end or Back end of WordPress), or in a browser console?

What plugins do you have installed and activated (many plugins will make this list for you, rather than having to type it, such as the free System Snapshot Report plugin)?

uhm, yah sorry more info would be good. As said in a previous support post, there seems to be a conflict with the plugin Types, which I am using. I’ve deactivated Types to resolve this error.

The following support post seems to suggest a previous person received a fix for this:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/fatal-error-line-54/#post-40218

In the back end if I click on a post or a page I get this error. Front end error when I access pages with posts.

    thanks for the help,
    Rollin

Hi, you need a copy of the development version of S&F Pro. If you can send me an email address I can send it to, by private reply?

I will email it in a moment to you. Follow these steps to manually install:

    1) Deactivate S&F in WP Admin Plugins page (do not delete, otherwise you will lose your search form)
    2) Via FTP, delete search-filter-pro folder from the wp-content\plugins folder on your server. If you wish to keep the folder, just in case, do NOT rename it, instead move it UP a folder into the wp-content folder.
    3) Unzip the file I will have sent to you.
    4) Upload the search-filter-pro folder to the wp-content\plugins folder on your server.
    5) Go to the Search & Filter Pro Settings in WP Admin and make sure that Load JavaScript & CSS files is ON and Lazyload is OFF.

Let me know how you get on.

I’m not seeing the ranger sliders with the dev version update. I’ll do some more testing, but just wondered if there are any known pending related issues?

Range sliders are there. I have the dev version on one of my sites and it has a range slider on the form. I am not aware of any issues.
