I bought the pro version after I found the free version was working, but not having all the options.
After deactivating the free version and activating the Pro version, my searches do not function anymore.
Even when I try the getting started: creating your first search form, it does not work.I need some assistance please!
Kind regards,
MariannTrevor(Private) December 23, 2019 at 12:35 pm #229674Can you deactivate the Pro and activate the free version and send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look at what you are trying to achive?
The free and pro versions are quite different at the moment, so settings and shortcodes are not interchangeable. We plan to bring them in line for V3 (in a few months).

I have reset everything and it is kind of working.
When I do a search on a form I get the following message:
–This Search Form has not been configured to use a shortcode–
I have searched the forum an saw that it might have to do with the version. Version I am using is 2.5.0
Any hints?Trevor(Private) December 24, 2019 at 4:07 pm #229822That suggests that you have made a form, and placed that on the page, the used the results shortcode to display the results, but to do that, in the Display Results settings tab (the second tab), the Display method needs to be set to ‘Using a Shortcode`
The results won’t look so good. BTW, what theme are you using? Do you have a page builder plugin installed?
Trevor(Private) January 13, 2020 at 3:58 pm #230924Sorry for the delay.
It rather depends what you want (anything you can show me) or whether you are already using a page builder plugin of some sort. If you are not, you might try this:
