1. Using a shortcode for display results, is it possible to have the display results show as 2 or 3 results in a row?
2. Is it possible to make the feature image in search results be clickable to the items page?

Depending on your theme and whether it includes a Page Builder feature or plugin which can otherwise be used to make a grid, you may want instead to use the free Post Grid plugin:

Hi, Trevor. This site is built with the Divi theme, which does have a nice builder that can accommodate rows and columns, but we can’t paste the shortcode into three columns to achieve the desired display results of a three-column layout. How do we get the shortcode to manifest itself into, say, displaying a row with three results (three columns)?
