    Hello there,
Everytime I create a new Filter, it says:
“Notice: Running background processes is either disabled or has failed in this environment.
Therefore you must leave this page open to complete caching.”

    Is it normal?
I have a lot of posts and I have to add more and every time I do it “Search results will only contain posts when caching has completed” so it is a problem leaving it running for hours and not having results on the frontend.

    Any help?

It is not normal, but something in the your server setup is preventing it. All our code does is to detect if the server is allowing it to happen, but not why. We do not know why this happens.

    Hi Trevor,
    Thanks for your answer.
From the server side, they say that everything is fine.
Can you please provide any help?
I saw that other users experimented the same problem.
    Any solution?
    Thanks

It will not be a server fault. It will be something in the setup, but in all other cases, we have been unable to find what the problem is.

Ok, any suggestion for the setup?

If we knew what caused this, maybe, but we do not. I can give you what my server is set to, as shown by the Server Status plugin’s report:

Actually, setting on “medium” speed it is working.
At least, it doesn’t show the error.
But now we have another issue: catergories doesn’t show posts and filters by category don’t work.
I am trying to refresh the cache and be back.
If you have any suggestions I’ll try

    No suggestions from me.

After the refresh I’ll be back, but if the filter doesn’t work it is an issue related to the plugin.
    And support should be provided

I have refreshed the cache and the problem is still there:
    categories don’t work properly.
You can see the example here:
    https://www.erasmuspeople.com/erasmus_trips_rome/
if you check the category filter, it doesn’t show the post.
Instead, in this page it works:
    https://www.erasmuspeople.com/erasmus_trips_madrid/
    Filters are identical apparently.
Also, category pages have no posts inside them even if they should be. This is the example:
    https://www.erasmuspeople.com/category/prova-prova/
If I disable the plugin, this last page works properly.
    Any help?
