Tagged: cache
Hello,
First of all love the plugin. However, I am having some problems after moving from my local environment to a public host (WPEngine).
I have a custom post type with an S&F search that has over 7000 entries which gets cached fine locally, but not on WPEngine for some reason. It kind of times out in the 6000 range. The Site Search was working fine locally as well, but on the staging server it would throw a fatal error looking for something in searchform.php, and then auto refresh to the regular site search after x amount of seconds.
I installed Relevanssi and now nothing shows up for either even if you manually punch in “/?s=xxx”. I’m guessing since Relevanssi swaps regular search with it’s own, that it now also needs a fresh cache of all posts including the cpt and so that’s why I’m not getting anything showing up. I’m currently waiting while I type this.
Do you think a lot of my issues stem from not being to cache my custom posts? Is this something easily remedied by contacting WPEngine? I can link my staging server in private if necessary.
Thanks
WP Engine 🙁
This post is sort of relevant I suspect:

If you could try that code in your wp-config.php file?
