Hi!
I have a big problem. I use search and filter pro for custom posts. I have 3 filters that work, they display the content filtered in the same page, infinite scroll works OK. However, after using one or two filters, I get the results, but when hitting the back button in browser, the results remain the same, back doesn’t take me back to the previous filtered page.
To put it simple: I select one filter, works ok, I select the second filter, works OK. When hitting back button from filter 2 results it doesn’t take me back to filter 1 results.
Is there a solution? Quite frustrating not to be able to go back to previous selections in browser.
Thanks!
Anonymous(Private) March 28, 2019 at 4:07 pm #206809Unfortunately the idea IS to filter the taxonomy and be able to use the browser back button without any other links. In your opinion, do you think the site users will never use the back browser button??? Isn’t there any code that can be added to trace the previous path?
Trevor(Private) March 28, 2019 at 4:24 pm #206819Browsers have changed the way the back button works to make sure a user’s privacy is not being abused by tracking software, and this means we need to find a way around this. We will most likely introduce transients in V3, but I am not sure what you will be able to do with them in the Form UI options, and what might need to e coded.
Remember that GDPR rules mean you have to gain a user’s explicit consent to use transients (when we introduce them).
