Both free & pro on one site?

I am working on a site that has a number of searches set up with the free version using shortcodes.
I’ve installed the Pro & disabled the free, but the original shortcode searches are not displaying. Should I have both versions enabled?

The current versions of Free and pro have quite different code cores (this will change in V3, where the free version will form the core code on which the Pro will build), so shortcodes for the free version will not work when using the Pro version.

You can leave the free version active whilst you build new forms in the pro version. The Pro version will not be able to use what you have built in the free version.
