Auto selecting First Option of Dropdown

Try using it as a Combobox instead. But, if you do this, go into the main plugin settings and change it from Chosen to Select2.

Are you using a cache plugin like W3TotalCache, or a CDN like cloudflare?

Yes, we have got CloudFlare and WP Rocket running on the site.

FYI, WP Rocket does not cache when we are logged in as admin and the issue is still present.

I have turned off CloudFlare and WP Rocket and we still have the same issue. Sorry.

If you examine the HTML code using the inspector, something (probably javascript) is making BOTH the ALL and first value the default. This is almost certainly a plugin doing this. You will need to progressively deactivate plugins until you find the one that might be doing this.

I have spotted this now. Weird it didn’t happen when I first looked.

I disabled all plugins apart from the below as they are required to load the page:

The issue still occurs I’m afraid.

I, also, just switched to “TwentySeventeen” theme and it still happened so is not the theme.
