Hi, I’ve just added 1 translation to a search form (using WPML). So I duplicated the search form and change the language:
http://www.tristaryachts.com/charter-2/
Now the auto count is showing twice the number of items avaiable, is like is counting every item (post) in both language. ALtought the results works fine, showing only the posts in each language correctly.
EG. There’s 4 “Motor (fly)” yachts and the search form shows “Motor (fly) (8)” instead of “Motor (fly) (4)”
Once you hit this checkbox, the result are those 4 items, but the check box still is showing 8 instead of 4.
How do I fix this?
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) October 21, 2015 at 2:40 pm #27850Hi Cristian
Did you try to rebuild the cache?
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) October 21, 2015 at 3:04 pm #27854Didn’t work…
I just did the rebuild hiting the button in both forms, first this comes out:
Notice: you must leave this page open to complete caching
Running background processes failed in this environment.
Restarting…
Changes have been made which require the cache to be rebuilt.and then this:
Cache up to date, all systems go.
Refreshing website, still double count in each field
thanks for the quick answer, hope we can find a solution
Anonymous(Private) October 21, 2015 at 3:27 pm #27855also I realize another problem:
I’ve 2 search forms:
charter:
http://www.tristaryachts.com/charter-2/and brokerage:
http://www.tristaryachts.com/brokerage/Both search post that are only excluded by Category using the option in the tab “Tags, Categories & Taxonomies”==> “Include or Exclude results with specific tags, categories and taxonomy terms.”
the results are working good, but the auto count shows the total post number without excluding the corresponding category
All that hapends in the english language, BUT in the italian language if you try to use the filters (try checkbox==> “Motor (open) (4)”) it will “jump” to the english language without reason.
So in resume I’ve 3 problems right now:
– Auto count showing count off all language post, instead of just the right language for each one
– Auto Count is not excluding the categories on the counting
– Filters are reseting the search to english results page when is in italian. Thanks for your help Ross
