Author filter not updated upon tax selection

We have a search form that includes a taxonomy filter as a checkbox field and an author filter as a select field.

When users select a taxonomy, the available authors in the select field are not updated to represent those available in the newly filtered results. We really need this functionality. Is there an option we’re just missing?

Hey Robbin

This is a feature we’re working on for the next major release – hiding unavailable/irrelevants options based on teh current search – so kind of a drill down mechanism where you only see things that are available based on existing parameters – you’re not missing anything we’re working on it 😉
