Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Archive Result page not always showing filters
Tagged: archive, multiple filters, result page, sidebar
Hi,
Great plugin and almost got everything setup the right way. However I do have some problems:
I have setup 2 filter forms:
a complete filter form in the sidebar of the archive page
a quick search visible on other pages and will direct to the same archive result page
The problem:
When the quick filter is used, the results are visible but the complete filter form is not visible in the sidebar.
Please check the following URL:
http://149.210.159.50/~hunneke/
And try the quick filter on the photo.
The result page should be:
http://149.210.159.50/~hunneke/accomodaties/
As you notice the result pages are not the same. The archive templates for both are set to the same. If I try to add the slug ‘accomodaties’ to the quick search filter, the filter is gone for both result pages.
What to do?
Hi Lars
Integrating 2 forms together is not really supported/a feature of the plugin.
There is a workaround you can try but I can’t make any guarantees.
So we assume this page is working fine:
http://149.210.159.50/~hunneke/accomodaties/
And we want the quick filter to send all searches here…
So we can trick the first form in to going the other forms results page…
I think you must (all in the quick filter form):
1) Under “display results” change it to the “shortcode” method, not archive.
2) For the results URL, change this to “http://149.210.159.50/~hunneke/accomodaties/”
And I think that *could* work!
Thanks
