AND-OR Operator for Author with Checkbox

Dear all, I’ve a request that could sound silly.
I’d really need to have the possibility to select an “AND/OR” operator when using the Author filter with checkboxes.
This is due to the fact that I’m using authors as they were a category. I’ve already used Categories and Attributs of my portfolio, but I need one more filter.
At the moment I have problems because the Author filter doesn’t show the correct number of results when used together with the other fields, and I think this is due to the operator that I can’t select.
Can you help me?

I do understand. You would need to create a custom taxonomy to add to the post type (you could use a plugin called Custom Post Type UI to do this). Our Author field is not flexible enough to do what you want.
