So I’ve gone ahead and setup a slug for your search results which should also be your search page – http://mediacoalition.org/search-issues/
This is the best place to start when trying to set up your search form – you can obviously change this to anything you want by changing “slug” in the settings box.
The best way forward from here is to modify this search page to try to get it working and looking how you want.
What we need to do here is choose a template, that will also have the search widget – do you think you would be able to add the S&F widget to this specific page? I tried to do it but am a little confused with your widget plugin…
If you have a look, the form is using search.php as your template, so if you want to start modifying this layout (to add a widget area for example) it would be a good idea to make a copy of “search.php” and rename the copy (for example searchandfilter.php) and then use this as your custom template.
Then you can make changes to searchandfilter.php without it affecting the rest of your site – this would be a good time to add in a widget area ๐
Once you get the search widget set up on this page I think it should start work ok – but let me know when you have done this and I can help with the rest!
Thanks
